2021 Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter Elections

Gwangju-Jeonnam KOTESOL chapter elections will take place in April, with online voting from April 1 until noon on April 10, and the election meeting with results announced over Zoom on April 10. All current chapter members will receive an email ballot on April 1.

There are three positions up for election:
President
Vice President
Treasurer

This year's chapter elections officer is Dr. Yeon-seong Park, who can be reached by email at pyspark at yahoo.com

Reflective Language Teacher Announced

Korea TESOL and Dr. Thomas Farrell wish to communicate that the recipient of the Korea TESOL Reflective Language Teacher Award was formally announced at the closing ceremony of the 28th Korea TESOL International Conference, which recently concluded its ten-day run.

This year's recipient of the award is

Kristy Dolson, a teacher trainer at the Jeollanamdo International Education Institute.

January 2021 - Let's Get 2021 Started!

January was welcomed with open arms and actually became a firm foundation for Yongin and other Chapters as our chapter and the organization embarks into the year of 2021.

On January 9th, the Yongin chapter held an "open-ended" and "unconference-like" event that invited attendees to contribute ideas in a lively session of dedicated educators.
