Types of membership

Domestic, Undergraduate Student, Lifetime, International, and Organizational Partner.

Regular (Domestic) Membership
(For people living in Korea)
Annual dues are 50,000 won

Undergraduate Student Membership
Annual dues are 30,000 won
Proof of undergraduate student status will be required.
All applicants for Undergraduate Student Membership must submit their current semester student timetable to the National Treasurer for verification of status.
All the benefits for Student Membership are the same as for Domestic Membership.

Lifetime Membership
Lifetime dues are 500,000 won.
All the benefits are the same as for Domestic Membership.

International Membership
(For people living outside Korea)
Annual dues are 70,000 won / US$70.00.
All the benefits are the same as for Domestic Membership.
The higher price covers international mailing of our publications.

Organizational Partner Membership
Organizational Partners are those non-profit and for-profit organizations that wish to affiliate with Korea TESOL for the mutual benefit of KOTESOL's individual members and the organization's own aims.
Marketing displays at the annual International Conference are limited to KOTESOL Organizational Partners.

*Please note: Membership dues and conference fees are non-refundable.

The period of membership is twelve (12) months from the time of application until the last day of the twelfth month. However, applications made from October 1st through the close of on-site registration at the International Conference only run through September 30th of the following year. Renewals normally run for a full twelve months, with this exception. Applications made post-conference run through the last day of the twelfth month.

Note: Membership applications received after September 30 may not be processed in time for the International Conference. After September 30, please apply for membership or renew at the Conference venue via onsite registration to ensure that you receive your membership benefits at the Conference.
