KOTESOL's Annual Business Meeting (ABM) will be held on Wednesday, November 1, 2023, starting at 7 p.m., in accordance with the KOTESOL Constitution & Bylaws. (Find information about attending the ABM here.)

We had a presentation from Paul Johnson, who travelled here from Daejeon, to talk about teaching vocabulary - specifically, corpus linguistics for language teachers.
We also heard from Maria Lisak, who came in from Gwangju, to speak on how students can express themselves - meaning making beyond words.

Recently, JNJ KOTESOL gathered for our April workshop. It was a beautiful day and we were very happy to hear the presentations.
We heard from Bryan Hale, who teaches at Jeonnam Foreign Language High School, about some considerations for group work, and David Kim, from the Gyeonggi-do Institute for Global Education, broached the topic of navigating workplace culture. Lots of handy ideas were shared.
