A story slam is a live event in which participants tell short, autobiographical stories to the audience without the use of notes. These events are an outgrowth of the popularity in North America of poetry slams and other spoken word performances. Each event has a theme to which participants’ stories should connect. Lee Boyoung - Boyoung Lee (이보영) - is perhaps Korea's most-recognized English teacher.

She is also a featured speaker at the 2015 KOTESOL International Conference and English Expo

With years of TV-teaching experience, leading a major language education group, and as Professor/Head of Group at a major university, she is a leader in the field.

Notice of a Proposed Amendment to the KOTESOL Constiuttion

Regarding the two-year term of President

All members are hereby notified
of the motion to amend the KOTESOL Constitution, specified below, to be voted upon at the KOTESOL Annual Business Meeting scheduled for Sunday, October 11 at 16:50 within the KOTESOL International Conference venue at COEX (Seoul),
having met the provisions for endorsement and notice under Constitution Article VIII.

That Article V of the KOTESOL Constitution be amended to DELETE the following clause,
"except  for the President, who shall serve a two-year term, elected...
