Announcing the 2014 KOTESOL Research Grants!As in years past, KOTESOL is proud to support the efforts of its members by offering two types of research grants through the Research Committee. This year, we will offer one "Research Paper Grant" and up to five "Conference Presentation Grants." Please read on for more

Research Paper Grants are offered for the purpose of stimulating new research, especially by beginning researchers, of high quality and worthy of appearing in the Korea TESOL Journal.

National Council Evolves
Membership in the KOTESOL National Council evolves over several phases:
National elections Chapter elections Council appointmentsNational election outcomes were announced at the Annual Business Meeting October 13th, and on this site that same day. Chapter elections take place at various local meetings throughout the year (many occur in November). Each chapter's president has a vote on the national council.

First, everyone should note that the conference venue is not the same as last year. We're across the street, in the old campus. As you're heading up the hill from the subway, turn right at the main gate, instead of left. If you find yourself on a huge flight of stairs, you're in the wrong place.

Unfortunately, there is no ATM (bank machine) on the Sookmyung campus.*
KOTESOL cannot accept credit or debit cards for your conference registration or membership dues.
We srongly recommend you visit the bank on the way in - there are several banks on the way from the subway stations.
(Although many book vendors will accept credit cards, some smaller shops might not be able to away from their physical home store.)
* there is a small machine on the 2nd campus (across the street) but it quickly runs out of cash.
