37. Seoul Chapter President

Dr. Ian Done D. Ramos is a professor in the Department of English and Literature at the University of Suwon. He completed his doctorate in English language teaching (EdD ELT) and also has a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL), a Special Education diploma in Learning Disabilities (SpEd LD), and a Bachelor of Secondary Education in English (BSEd-English). 34. Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter President

Bill Mulligan has worked in Korea as a teacher for over a decade. He has been a proud member of KOTESOL since 2009. In that time, he has served as National Membership Committee chair, and editor-in-chief of The English Connection (TEC). After serving on the National Council for two years, Bill decided that he wanted to focus more on working with his local chapter, serving as vice-president before becoming chapter president. Jeroen "Chop" Root is currently a visiting professor at Kyungpook National University in Daegu. He completed his MA in TESOL at the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2012. Ian Adkins is an English teacher for the Gimhae public middle schools. 19. Financial Affairs Committee Chair

Stafford Lumsden is the coordinator of the Online TESOL program at Sookmyung Women's University, where he also teaches Curriculum Design and Lesson Planning in the YL-TESOL program. In the past, he has served as the president of the Seoul Chapter of KOTESOL (2012-2014), chair of the KOTESOL National Conference (2015), and in various roles for the KOTESOL International Conference since 2008. 18. Research Committee Chair

Christopher Miller has been involved in ELT since 2007. He has an MSEd (TESOL) from Shenandoah University and teaches at Daeil Foreign Language High School in Seoul. In addition to being Research Committee chair, Chris is treasurer of the Seoul Chapter and National Secretary. 15. International Outreach Committee Chair

Allison Bill started her own second language learning at age five. She completed her BEd in elementary French education at the University of Ottawa and her MA TESL/TEFL at St. Michael’s College in Vermont (USA). She is currently studying for her EdD at Anaheim University. Allison has been president of Jeonju-North Jeolla Chapter and chair of the Korea TESOL International Conference (2006). Lindsay Herron has been chair of the Membership Committee since 2014. She arrived in Korea in 2005 and has been teaching at Gwangju National University of Education since 2008. Lindsay is also KOTESOL National President and Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter treasurer. She has master’s degrees in language education and cinema studies, a CELTA, and a CELTA YL-Extension. 10. International Conference Committee Chair

Sean O'Connor has been a member of KOTESOL for many years. He has served on the KOTESOL International Conference Committee (ICC) since 2001. For most of those years, he served as director of the Technical Team. His ICC service earned him an Outstanding Service Award from the ICC chair in 2013 and a President's Award in 2015. Peadar Callaghan completed his two-year term as KOTESOL president in 2015. Prior to that, he was 1st Vice-President and Daegu-Gyeongbuk Chapter President. He graduated from the University of Limerick with an MA in ELT. Presently, Peadar is teaching at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
