Dr. Ian Done D. Ramos is a professor in the Department of English and Literature at the University of Suwon. He completed his doctorate in English language teaching (EdD ELT) and also has a Master of Arts in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (MA TESOL), a Special Education diploma in Learning Disabilities (SpEd LD), and a Bachelor of Secondary Education in English (BSEd-English). 34. Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter President
Bill Mulligan has worked in Korea as a teacher for over a decade. He has been a proud member of KOTESOL since 2009. In that time, he has served as National Membership Committee chair, and editor-in-chief of The English Connection (TEC). After serving on the National Council for two years, Bill decided that he wanted to focus more on working with his local chapter, serving as vice-president before becoming chapter president. He has also been a very active member of the International Conference Committee. He has lived in Gwangju for over seven years with his wife and son.
31. Daegu-Gyeongbuk Chapter President
Jeroen "Chop" Root is currently a visiting professor at Kyungpook National University in Daegu. He completed his MA in TESOL at the University of Auckland, New Zealand in 2012. His professional interests include second-language reading and writing, project-based learning, assessment, and gifted education as well as reflective practice and teacher development. Mike Peacock is an instructor at Woosong Culinary College in Daejeon. He received his MA in TESOL-MALL from Woosong University. Ian Adkins is an English teacher for the Gimhae public middle schools. He has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Valparaiso University, and he has a Master of TESOL and Assessment degree from Missouri Western State University. 19. Financial Affairs Committee Chair
Stafford Lumsden is the coordinator of the Online TESOL program at Sookmyung Women's University, where he also teaches Curriculum Design and Lesson Planning in the YL-TESOL program. In the past, he has served as the president of the Seoul Chapter of KOTESOL (2012-2014), chair of the KOTESOL National Conference (2015), and in various roles for the KOTESOL International Conference since 2008. Stafford received his MA in TESOL and applied linguistics from Victoria University of Wellington and is now in Macquarie University's PhD program.
18. Research Committee Chair
Christopher Miller has been involved in ELT since 2007. He has an MSEd (TESOL) from Shenandoah University and teaches at Daeil Foreign Language High School in Seoul. In addition to being Research Committee chair, Chris is treasurer of the Seoul Chapter and National Secretary. He has also served as associate editor of KOTESOL's The English Connection (TEC). He is a frequent presenter at KOTESOL events and elsewhere.
17. Publicity Committee Chair
Kathleen Kelley has been teaching in Korea since 2011. She is presently on the faculty at Andong National University. Before that she taught in a public middle school and elementary school in Busan. Kathleen has been a KOTESOL member since 2013. John Phillips is a long-time member of KOTESOL and a long-time chair of the Technologies Committee. He is presently an independent computer and network specialist and has spent many years working for Fulbright Korea. Allison Bill started her own second language learning at age five. She completed her BEd in elementary French education at the University of Ottawa and her MA TESL/TEFL at St. Michael’s College in Vermont (USA). She is currently studying for her EdD at Anaheim University. Allison has been president of Jeonju-North Jeolla Chapter and chair of the Korea TESOL International Conference (2006). Lindsay Herron has been chair of the Membership Committee since 2014. She arrived in Korea in 2005 and has been teaching at Gwangju National University of Education since 2008. Lindsay is also KOTESOL National President and Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter treasurer. She has master’s degrees in language education and cinema studies, a CELTA, and a CELTA YL-Extension. 11. International Conference Committee Co-chair

Sean O'Connor has been a member of KOTESOL for many years. He has served on the KOTESOL International Conference Committee (ICC) since 2001. For most of those years, he served as director of the Technical Team. His ICC service earned him an Outstanding Service Award from the ICC chair in 2013 and a President's Award in 2015. Peadar Callaghan completed his two-year term as KOTESOL president in 2015. Prior to that, he was 1st Vice-President and Daegu-Gyeongbuk Chapter President. He graduated from the University of Limerick with an MA in ELT. Presently, Peadar is teaching at King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. Peadar's academic interests include incorporating comics and gamification into English language teaching materials and techniques.

Christopher Miller has been involved in ELT for nearly a decade. He began his career in Peace Corps Moldova in 2007 and holds an MSEd in TESOL from Shenandoah University. He has been active in KOTESOL for the last five years at both the chapter and national levels. His research interests include quantifying the benefits of teacher reflection.
