Ian Adkins is an English teacher for the Gimhae public middle schools. He has a Bachelor of Music Education degree from Valparaiso University, and he has a Master of TESOL and Assessment degree from Missouri Western State University. His main topics of interest are foreign language anxiety and hidden literacies. Ian has been involved in KOTESOL for a number of years, and has presented for chapter workshops and at the International Conference. He completed a thesis on the topic of compulsory participation and its application to foreign language anxiety. Besides his research, Ian enjoys hiking, travel, playing music, writing music, and running. Ian believes that every teacher has something to contribute ㅡ from a 20-year veteran to a rookie.
