Korea TESOL (KOTESOL) is accepting bids from qualified website developers to assist with the completion and launch of its new WordPress website.
A new WordPress-based KOTESOL website is currently under development and in a pre-launch state. KOTESOL is seeking a developer or development team to complete the remaining website-development work and help prepare the site for public launch.
Primary Scope of Work
The work is expected to include:
- Review the current WordPress site and identify remaining development needs.
- Complete unfinished page templates, layouts, navigation, and site functionality.
- Ensure consistent design and functionality across the website.
- Optimize the site for desktop, tablet, and mobile use.
- Configure and troubleshoot forms and other front-end website functionality as required.
- Address bugs, broken links, display issues, and other technical problems identified during testing.
- Assist with implementation of content and organizational structures provided by the KOTESOL website team.
- Conduct functional and usability testing prior to launch.
- Address issues identified during final testing.
- Assist with final deployment and public launch of the new website.
- Provide appropriate technical documentation and ensure administrative access is transferred to KOTESOL upon project completion.
The exact scope may be refined in consultation with shortlisted bidders based on the status of the website at the time work begins.
The successful bidder will work with the KOTESOL website team and will be provided access to the existing WordPress development site and relevant systems as necessary.
Bid Requirements
Interested developers should submit:
- A brief description of relevant experience, particularly with WordPress development.
- Examples of comparable projects, if available.
- A proposed approach to completing the project.
- An estimated project timeline.
- A fixed project estimate, or an hourly rate with an estimated number of hours and maximum anticipated project cost.
- Any anticipated third-party software, plugin, licensing, hosting, or other costs not included in the development fee.
- Availability to begin work.
KOTESOL may contact shortlisted bidders to discuss the existing website and clarify technical requirements before selecting a contractor.
