English Teachers Gather in Seoul for Two-Day Conference

On October 15-16, about one thousand English educators will meet in Seoul for the 24th Annual Korea TESOL International Conference hosted by Sookmyung Women’s University. The two-day conference supports Korea TESOL’s mission to "assist teachers in self-development and improve ELT in Korea.” However, there will be a number of presenters and attendees from around the world. As Korea TESOL President Lindsay Herron puts it:
“The KOTESOL International Conference is a fantastic opportunity to explore new perspectives, gain new insights, reflect on your teaching, and socialize with teachers from around the globe.”
The theme of the conference, “Shaping the Future with 21st Century Skills,” highlights innovation in all areas of education. Conference Chair Jamie Carson explained that she “wanted to make sure that there are new and exciting things for everyday teachers.” With more than 200 sessions to choose from over two days, Korea TESOL International Conference attendees are sure to learn new and exciting things.
