We encourage those visiting Seoul for the conference to consider staying at our official conference hotel:
The Best Western Premier Seoul Garden Hotel
The hotel is approximately a 15-minute taxi ride from the conference venue, and it's located within an easy walk of a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as both the Gongdeok and Mapo subway stations and the airport limousine bus stop.
Reserve your room today! Use the attached form to get the preferential rate offered to KOTESOL conference attendees (125,000 won/night; add 12,500 won/night for breakfast [1st person, advance price only]). If we manage to get 30 rooms/day reserved using this form (mentioning KOTESOL), a shuttle bus will be provided by the hotel to and from the conference (Note: We've never met this minimum, so please don't plan around it! Taxis are very affordable and convenient, though.). There's no official deadline for reservations, but we strongly recommend booking by September 27, as our block of rooms will be released on that date, and this is the high season for the hotel. We cannot guarantee there will be rooms available if you attempt to book after September 27.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Membership Committee chair.
