[Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do | 6-Day Short-Term Position] Substitute English Teacher Needed
We are looking for a short-term substitute English teacher to cover classes at an English academy in Gwangmyeong, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea.
Applicants do not need to be native English speakers. We welcome Korean English speakers, bilingual speakers, native English speakers, and other qualified applicants who are comfortable teaching English conversation to elementary and middle school students.
Work Schedule
Option 1: December 21–24, 2026 (4 days)
Monday, December 21: 1:30 PM–7:30 PM
Tuesday, December 22: 2:30 PM–8:30 PM
Wednesday, December 23: 1:30 PM–6:30 PM
Thursday, December 24: 2:30 PM–8:30 PM
Option 2: December 28–29, 2026 (2 days)
Monday, December 28: 1:30 PM–7:30 PM
Tuesday, December 29: 2:30 PM–8:30 PM
Applicants may apply for either schedule or all six days, depending on availability.
Pay: KRW 25,000 per hour
Location: Royal Plaza, 6th Floor, 22 Gwanghwa-ro, Gwangmyeong-si, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea
Students: Elementary and middle school students
Class Content: Primarily English conversation in a comfortable and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Strong spoken English skills
- Comfortable working with elementary and middle school students
- University students are welcome to apply
- Native English speakers and non-native English speakers are both welcome
- Foreign applicants must be legally authorized to work in South Korea
