Presenters: Stewart Gray & Roxy Lee
Workshop Title: Encouraging Students to Practice English Creatively: A Workshop for Teachers in all Contexts
Date: Wednesday, February 17th, 2021
Time: 20:00 to 21:00
Presentation Information: Creative activities offer a lot of benefits to English students and teachers. As well as being fun and engaging, they also encourage the sort of free and flexible language practice that is ultimately essential for language learning. Such activities are the focus of this workshop. The two presenters, who have done a few experiments with creative activities in their own classes, will share insights they have gained. The workshop will include activities of all sorts, from poems to posters, and details of how to design creative activities that can be used in class with students of all ages and English levels.
We're really looking forward to having Roxy and Stewart present for us - their presentations are always brilliant (and we have seen a few now!). So, we really hope you can make it!
As usual, admission is free for DCC members (and KOTESOL members generally), but non-KOTESOL members are asked to pay a 5,000 KRW fee to attend.
