Suwon is a major transportation hub for Gyeonggi Province.
Anyone traveling from Seoul or other areas of Korea by KTX, Muganghwa, Saemaul, Noriro, or Subway Line 1 can make trqnsfers to the conference venue conveniently through Suwon (as well as other options outlined in other webpages).
Two options from Suwon to the conference are
- Metro
- Local Bus
Metro
First, take the Bundang (Metro) Line 분당선 (盆唐線) to Giheung Station.
Then, at Giheung Station, you have two options:
- Exit 4 for the Yongin Everline Train to Kangnam University Station, As soon as you get off at the next stop -- Kangnam University Station at Exit 1 or Exit 2. The front entrance of the university is directly across from the station. After you go through the arch at the university entrance, you can go up the hill to the left to either the Shallomkwon Building or the Insakwon Building.
- OR - - Go through Exit 3 or Exit 4 and take one of the following buses that will lead you to an area down the street and across from Kangnam University's front gate: 5000, 5001, 5003, 5005, 66, 66-4, 820, 690, 80, 36, 36-1, 28, 54, and 10. (Kangnam University (main entrance / "front gate") is the next stop from Giheung Station).
Busses
From Suwon Station, exit through either Exit 11 or Exit 12 and
- walk to Suwon Station Bus Stop 4. From there, take either Bus 66 or 66-4 to go to Kangnam University's front gate.
- OR - - walk to Suwon Station Bus Stop 5. From there, take Bus 10 to the Kangnam University's front gate.
