Bryan Hale ㅡ Immediate Past President
Bryan Hale is an English language teacher from Australia. He currently teaches at the Foreign Language High School in Naju, Jeollanamdo, and his previous experience includes both public and hagwon teaching with all age groups, but especially teenagers. Bryan has a Master of Applied Linguistics (TESOL) through the University of New England in Australia. He is particularly interested in playfulness and spontaneity in the English as a Foreign Language classroom. Bryan’s previous roles within KOTESOL include Gwangju-Jeonnam Chapter president, Reflective Practice SIG co-facilitator, and KOTESOL first vice-president, as well as KOTESOL president (2020-2022).
