The Suwon-Gyeonggi KOTESOL chapter’s June workshop features two speakers, YoungKi Kim presenting Changes in English Education Policy and LEE, Hyeonju Jo presenting Real Examples and Practices of LEE.
As always, attendance is free and refreshments will be provided.

Abstracts:
YoungKi Kim will talk about the changes in the environment of English Education in and outside of the school. He will also talk about how English Education in our schools should be modified as a result of these changes. To demonstrate this, he will discuss the definition of LEE and share a few tips about how we can adapt it into our classrooms. In the final session, Hyeonju Jo and the attendees will share their ideas about how they are implementing LEE (TEE) into their classes.
Speaker Bios:
YoungKi Kim is a vice principal of Pyeongchon Middle School in Anyang City. He worked as a supervisor for 7 years in the English Education and Foreign Exchanges Team in the Gyeonggi-do Office of Education. He taught English in middle and high school for 16 years. He has two Master's degrees; one in “Teaching English in English in High School” and the other one in “School Administration and Educational Leadership”.
Hyunju Jo is an English teacher of Byeollae High School in Namyangju City. She has been teaching English for 10 years in secondary schools in Gyeonggi-do. She cherishes all her teaching experiences, but 2 years in TLBU Global School and 2 years in foreign language high schools inspired her most. She has a Bachelor’s degree in English Education.
