Do you want to help shape the future of KOTESOL? Would you like to learn new skills, or put your old ones to good use? Are you interested in contributing to the organization in personally meaningful way? Come to the 2015 KOTESOL Leadership Retreat!
November 8, 2015
10 a.m.-4 p.m. (4-5 p.m. National Council meeting)
Injaegwan, Sookmyung Women's University
The retreat is open to all members in good standing. Designed to help identify projects and streamline procedures for KOTESOL's committees, members who attend will be invited to share their opinions, volunteer their skills, and join (or even chair) a committee. We are particularly interested in getting people to take the lead on the Job Board/Employment Center and the KOTESOL online education project (still in the works); but all committees are looking for reliable members, regardless of experience.
The meet and greet will begin at 9:45 a.m., with opening remarks at 10 a.m., followed by breakout sessions finishing at 4 p.m. After the Leadership Retreat concludes, there will be a brief National Council meeting (4-5 p.m.). Lunch will be provided. To attend, RSVP by Wednesday, November 4, and provide your meal preference. (If you forget to RSVP, please feel free just to come! You won't have a meal choice, but pizza will be provided.)
