The Multimedia & CALL Special Interest Group is now seeking presenters for an MCALL-related colloquium at the 2016 International Conference (October 15 & 16, 2016, Sookmyung Women's University, Seoul). The colloquium will be 105 minutes long and feature simultaneous 20-minute presentations, so presenters will do the same presentation five times as people circulate to various stations around the room. The theme of the colloquium, by popular response to a Facebook poll, will be tech for teachers (tech for classroom management, quizzes, etc.); submit your relevant 20-minute presentation ideas to the MCALL SIG coordinator by May 15. We hope to have about five presenters for the colloquium.
Additional details: If your proposal suits the theme and matches the high quality expected by the MCALL SIG, you'll be contacted by the MCALL coordinator and asked to submit an official abstract and biographical profile to the IC Program Chair by May 31, following the guidelines provided in the IC Call for Proposals. You will have to register (and pay) for the conference as a presenter (60,000 won). You must be a member of KOTESOL at the time of the conference, with a membership expiring on or after October 31, 2016.
