At the opening ceremony of the 2025 Korea TESOL International Conference on May 10, the following three awards for articles/papers in KOTESOL publications were presented:
Korea TESOL Research Paper of the Year Award (Korea TESOL Journal) -- Maria Teresa Martinez Garcia
KOTESOL Proceedings Best Paper Award -- I-Jiuan Ting
The English Connection Article of the Year Award -- Michael Duddy
In addition to the publications awards, two awards were presented to two very deserving KOTESOL members. The first is an award sponsored by Dr. Thomas S.C. Farrell, and the second award is presented by the president of KOTESOL:
Korea TESOL Reflective Language Teacher Award -- Christopher Miller
Korea TESOL Patron Award -- Dr. Kara Mac Donald
