The Daegu-Gyeongbuk Chapter workshop for December will feature a presentation on the relationship between creativity and language learning. This workshop, which is based on Vincent’s doctoral thesis research, looks at the relationship between creativity and language learning and the role the curriculum might play on developing these competencies. Vincent spoke on this topic nine months ago when his study was just under way and is back to share his results and insights now that the study is near completion. The first part of the workshop will cover an overview of the two curricula used in this study with some participant practice on how to prepare a creative lesson. The second part will be an open forum discussion on various elements of this topic, and the final part will be a ‘debriefing’ on the results and most significant observations from Vincent’s longitudinal study - observations that will hopefully help you prepare lessons that will foster more creativity in your classroom.

This workshop is free and all are welcome to attend.
