Amendments to the KOTESOL Bylaws Pass

Three amendments to the KOTESOL Bylaws were passed at the KOTESOL Annual Business Meeting (ABM) held online on November 1, 2026, at 7 p.m. 

• Amendment 1: Change Articles III & V so the IC co-chair is appointed by the National Council at least eight months before the next international conference.
• Amendment 2: Change Article III, Section 9, to limit the past president’s term to one year.
• Amendment 3: Change Article VI, Section 4, to reduce the number of members required for active chapters.
