Job Description
- Language on Demand, Inc. is an American company with over 10 years of experience, providing language training and services to various US government agencies.
- Currently, LOD is seeking skilled and flexible Online English Teachers to join our team. This position is to provide group English classes to adults in Japan and Korea in groups of 2-4 students. Groups will be divided into beginner, intermediate, and advanced classes.
Responsibilities:
- Teach English classes to adults at various proficiency levels: Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced.
- Conduct classes between 08:00 and 18:00 JST&KST to accommodate students' schedules.
- Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans customized to meet the specific needs of each student and share with headquarters.
- Assess student progress regularly and provide feedback to support their language learning goals and share with headquarters.
- Foster an interactive and supportive learning environment to maximize student engagement and effectiveness.
- Use a variety of teaching methods and digital tools to deliver personalized instruction.
- Communicate with students to address any questions and provide additional support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA) or higher, preferably in Teaching English as a Second Language or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) to adults.
- Certificate of Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), Teaching English as a Second Language (TESL), or an equivalent certification.
- Experience in teaching Beginner, Intermediate, and Advanced levels.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable internet connection, a clear microphone and web cam environment for stable online class operation.
