The hotel is approximately a 15-minute taxi ride from the conference venue, and it's located within an easy walk of a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as both the Gongdeok and Mapo subway stations and an airport limousine bus stop. (It should also be easy to find other conference attendees with whom you can share a taxi!) How to get there
Reserve your room today! Use the attached form to get the preferential rate offered to KOTESOL conference attendees (132,000 won/night; add 18,000 won/night/person for breakfast), available from April 28-May 2. Other Accommodation Options
There are many accommodation options to choose from around Sookmyung Women's University and near convenient subway stations. In particular, Seoul Station is one short subway stop away from the conference venue (on Line 4), and Yongsan Station is a short taxi ride away (no direct subway route, but 1 transfer). Other areas within a 15- to 20-minute taxi ride include Myeongdong, Gongdeok, City Hall, Samgakji, Noksapyeong, Chungmuro, and Jongno-3-ga; and Chungmuro, Myeongdong, Seoul Station, and Samgakji are all on the same subway line (Line 4) as Sookmyung Women’s University. We also strongly recommend the area around Namyeong subway station, which has a variety of accommodation options, is just a 10- to 15-minute walk to the conference venue (or ~5-7 minutes by taxi), and is extremely convenient to both Seoul Station and Yongsan Station (1 stop on Line 1).
The options range from five-star hotels to wallet-friendly guesthouses. You should have little trouble finding a place to suit your needs via any major booking website.
