Positions: Two Mentors for Two, 2 Week Programs

Note: Preference will be given to those applicants who are able to commit to both Program 1 and Program 2.
Program # 1
- July 26 – August 6, 2021 / Week 1 Online & Week 2 In-person / 9am - 4pm
- Approx. 1.8 million won per mentor
-2021 Intensive English Teacher Program (Secondary): Effective Approaches in Teaching English as Second Language
- Stay with the teachers throughout the program (0900-1600 for 10 days) (Week 1 online / Week 2 in-person)
- Support teacher collaboration for lesson development and their oral presentation
- Deliver one of the following seminars (3hrs) (the primary focus is on ‘Teaching & Learning English’)
Community-based learning
Technology-based learning
Program # 2
- August 9 – August 20, 2021 / Week 1 Online & Week 2 In-person / 9am - 4pm
- Approx. 1.8 million won per mentor
- 2021 Intensive English Teacher Program (Primary): Community-based Glocal Learning: Participatory Learning using Community Assets and Resources
- Stay with the teachers throughout the program (0900-1600 for 10 days) (Week 1 online / Week 2 in-person)
- Support teacher placement activities
- Deliver one of the following seminars or any topic relevant to the program (3hrs) (the primary focus should be on ‘using tangible/intangible resources for learning & teaching’)
Community-based/-driven learning
Global and/or (East) Asian citizenship education
Qualifications:
- PhD in education or relevant, OR holding a faculty position at a university
