Abstract
In this study, I aim to investigate the growth mindset, self-efficacy, and English learning motivation among EFL high school students in Vietnam. Besides, I explore the possible correlation among these elements using bivariate Pearson Correlation analysis. Furthermore, I leverage the independent samples t-test to compare the growth mindset, self-efficacy, and English learning motivation of male and female students to discern possible significant differences. The data collection instrument is a questionnaire adapted from the CORE Districts Social Emotional Learning Survey and the English Language Learner Motivation Scale (ELLMS): Pre-College, which was developed by Ardasheva et al. (2013). The outcome of this research is intended to provide educators, researchers, policymakers, and other stakeholders with insights into the growth mindset, self-efficacy, and English learning motivation of EFL students, laying the foundation for relevant pedagogical interventions.
