There are three areas to choose from.

1. Near Sangji University (Woosan-dong): There is a collection of older motels about 500 meters straight down the road from Sangji University’s main gate, near where the bus terminal once stood. These are the cheapest (and oldest) options.
2. Near Wonju Bus Terminal (Dangye-dong): Behind and to the left of the bus terminal are at least a dozen "motels" (yogwans and “love hotels”) of varying quality and price. This is a nightlife area so there are a lot of entertainment options nearby. A taxi to Sangji University is about 5,000 won. There is also one upscale option:
   -- W-Hotel – http://w-hotel.co.kr – About 700 meters from the terminal. Rooms from 60,000 won.
3. Near City Hall (Mushil-dong): About 1 km from the bus terminal, there are a couple of nicer options. A taxi to Sangji University is about 5,000 won.
   -- Hotel K - The Official Conference Hotel. (see above)
   -- Hotel Biz Inn – www.benikea.com – Rooms from 80,000 won. Three-bed (triple) room is an economical option. Very near Hotel K.
