The 2022 KOTESOL International Conference is looking for responsible KOTESOL members to serve as Zoom hosts throughout the conference! If you are a reliable person with a Zoom account (Pro or higher preferred, but not required), a small amount of tech-savvy, and a current KOTESOL membership, we'd love to have you on the team.
Zoom hosts:
- provide a Zoom room (set up according to specifications),
- introduce the session,
- record the session (and upload the video), and
- troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Zoom hosts play a crucial role both as the public face of the conference, as they welcome presenters and participants and ensure virtual sessions run smoothly, and as behind-the-scenes volunteers key to conference logistics! The conference also offers a 40% discount on conference tickets to members serving as Zoom hosts for a minimum amount of time (final details to come after the number of sessions is confirmed; likely to be ~4-5 hours throughout the weekend). Zoom hosts also can choose the sessions they'd like to host (available on a first-come, first-served basis).
