On March 21, 2026, the KOTESOL Research SIG hosted a highly engaging session titled “From Classroom Problems to Researchable Questions: Designing TESOL Studies That Matter.” The turnout was excellent, signaling strong demand among practitioners to deepen their understanding of research.
The session explored how teachers can transform classroom concerns into theoretically grounded, publishable inquiries, emphasizing the importance of clear problem conceptualisation.
Through practical examples, participants examined common pitfalls and refined research questions. We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Pariwat Imsa-ard for his insightful presentation. The SIG remains committed to advancing research in ELT through meaningful scholarly engagement.
