Welcome to our January Social Event!
The Busan-Gyeongnam chapter of KOTESOL invite you to mix and mingle at our 'Dinner & A Movie" Social Event on January 12. It's a wonderful opportunity to meet teachers, break bread (or naan), share ideas and gain contacts for the future! Please feel free to come to any or all of the event (times are approximate and will be updated when the movie times are released):
We will have a three stage social set up by our fabulous Sunil Mahtani.
Getting There: Take the subway to Centum City Station. There is an underground entrance to Shinsaegae in the sation.
3- 4:30 pm ~ A Twosome Place next to the box office of Centum City cinema: Enjoy coffee time before the movie to break the ice before entering the darkened cinema! A Twosome place is on the 7th floor of the main buiding (not the mall building) near the CGV
4:30 -7pm ~ Green Book screening: 4:40 PM at CGV Centum City cinema: This comedy-drama about a tour of the Deep South in the 1960s by African-American jazz pianist Don Shirley stars Mahershala Ali as the musician and Viggo Mortensen as his Italian-American driver and bodyguard. The film has gotten amazing reviews since opening at the Toronto International Film Festival three months ago.
7-9pm ~ Dinner at Punjab Indian Restaurant in Haeundae: Just a couple of subway stops over, we will enjoy an amazing Indian meal at Punjab with free lassis or chai and free appetizers including vegetable pakoras! This will be a time to discuss the movie and socialize about upcoming plans for the new year.
