Join us on Sunday, March 27, 2016 from 3 to 5 p.m. when we will be hosting a FREE teacher training workshop led by Leonie Overbeek that you don't want to miss, especially if you are a new teacher!
This workshop will be broken up into two parts. During the first hour, Leonie will discuss effective team teaching in the classroom. This would be extremely helpful to all of you who work with co-teachers. The second hour will be dedicated to a hands-on approach to her most effective games used in the ESL classroom. This is especially useful if you find yourself finishing textbook pages very quickly and need fun and educational time fillers.
Bring a friend, or even better, your co-teacher. This workshop is free andopen to all. Light refreshments will be served and we even have some freebies to give to all participants.
****We will have a presenter's dinner following the workshop at a local restaurant and active members who bring a friend will get free dinner. Leonie Overbeek currently works at Namyang Elementary School, after six years working at Middle School level. She has presented at many KOTESOL conferences and chapters on practical applications of theoretical ideas. She is interested in neurological research into learning, art, books, languages and living life as fully as possible.
