Full-time EFL Faculty Wanted

EFL Program (http://hss.kaist.ac.kr/sub10/01_06.php) at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST- http://www.kaist.edu/html/en/index.html), South Korea, is opening its search for multiple full-time positions of EFL faculty. KAIST is Korea’s most prominent and world-renown engineering institution, educating Korea’s brightest. We teach most of the courses in English; therefore, English language education is given high emphasis. Its campus is located in the Daedeok Innopolis (http://innopolis.or.kr/eng/), Korea’s R&D center, 150 km south of Seoul. It takes 50 minutes from the capital city by KTX, the Korean bullet train.    

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Master’s degree in TESOL or Applied Linguistics; native fluency; and two-year teaching experience at the college level. We are particularly interested in candidates with experiences in teaching EFL to engineering students. Candidates with expertise in scientific writing and CLIL/EMI (Content and language integrated learning/English-medium instruction) will be given preference.

DUTIES: Teaching 12 hours per week in spring and fall semesters; 2 additional weekly hours of teaching or tutoring; curriculum development; serving on committees; and performing other university-related responsibilities
