We encourage those visiting Seoul for the conference to consider staying at our official conference hotel:
The hotel is approximately a 15-minute taxi ride from the conference venue, and it's located within an easy walk of a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as both the Gongdeok and Mapo subway stations and the airport limousine bus stop.
Reserve your room today! Use the attached form to get the preferential rate offered to KOTESOL conference attendees (125,000 won/night; add 12,500 won/night for breakfast [1st person, advance price only]). If we manage to get 30 rooms reserved using this form (mentioning KOTESOL), a shuttle bus will be provided by the hotel to and from the conference. There's no official deadline for reservations, but we strongly recommend booking by October 1, as this is the high season for the hotel. We cannot guarantee there will be rooms available if you attempt to book after October 1.
The reservation form only lists a standard double room (1 queen-size bed) as an option, but twin rooms (2 single beds) are available upon request for the same price.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Membership Committee chair.
Other Accommodation Options
Seoul Station is one short subway stop away from the conference venue. There are many accommodation options to choose from around Seoul Station as well as around Sookmyung Women's University. The options range from five-star hotels right down to wallet-friendly guest houses. You should have little trouble finding a place to suit your needs via any major booking website, such as Booking.com or Agoda.com.
